SYNOPSIS:

Officers responded to a report of shots fired at the Evergreen Condominiums located at 2340 Tocayo Avenue. Upon arrival, they found the victim lying dead in the grass. He had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was a security guard for Rogers Police Patrol and was on-duty at the time of the shooting. A motive for the shooting is unknown.

A lone suspect was observed running through the complex immediately after the shooting. He was carrying a long gun believed to be a shotgun. The suspect was described as a Hispanic male, 20 to 25 years old, 5'8" to 5'10", with a medium build. He was wearing a black short-sleeved shirt, white pants, white tennis shoes, and a dark watch cap.
